What a good read. Snorri has some wonderful characters here, powerful personalities. Ulfar, Audun, Skuld, Olav and even the raging Harald. Great landscapes and mood. I enjoy norse story telling and mythology and this book was a nice adventure. The battle scenes are well done. The humorous touches a treat. For a first book this is a damn good showing. Bring on the next one.
